
Antrim submits development plan to energy department

Antrim Energy has announced that it has submitted a Field Development Plan to the UK's Department of Energy and Climate Change.
According to online resource Oil Voice, the plan is focused on the group's Phase One of Causeway - its northern North Sea property.
Industry professionals working with fuel suppliers may also be interested to hear that the Field Development Plan is the first phase of what is hoped will be several phases of development of the field.
Future phases by Antrim will access any additional reserves in the western and central regions of the Causeway Field.
It is believed that approval will be granted at some point during 2009.
Stephen Greer, president and chief executive officer of Antrim, said: "This is a cautious, conservative approach, well suited to today's uncertain economic climate."
Meanwhile, Venture Production has announced that it has successfully brought the Grouse oil field into production.
The group has a 50 per cent working interest in the field.
